Today I’m sharing my favorite chicken marinade! It’s so easy and delicious.
I’ve been making my own marinades for a while now. Most of them take very little time or effort and you have the benefit of knowing exactly what’s in them, unlike some of the store bought marinades that use sketchy ingredients or lots of extra sugar.
This chicken marinade can literally be made up in a minute and uses ingredients I always have in my kitchen. Alright, enough small talk. Let’s do this!

So Easy Grilled Chicken Marinade
Kitchen Supplies
You do not need any special supplies to make up this quick marinade, but here is what I use:
Meat Thermometer: This is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets for getting perfectly cooked meat every time!
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 3 Tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 3 Tbsp Soy Sauce
- 3 Tbsp Lemon Juice (does not need to be fresh, bottled is fine)
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Dried Rosemary
- Salt & Pepper
Instructions
Mix all ingredients together.
Pour over raw chicken and turn the chicken a few times to coat it.
Cover and refrigerate for 2-24 hours.
Grill chicken until cooked thoroughly (165° internal temperature).
Eat and enjoy!
(You do not have to grill the chicken. Any cooking method is good! I’ve used this marinade on chicken cooked in an Instant Pot or on the stove. Both delicious!)
So easy, right? I hope you’ll give this marinade a try and let me know what you think!
